Fireproof grade and application of foam glass
Usually building materials generally have 5 fire ratings:
Class A: Non-combustible building materials: Materials that hardly burn.
Class A1: Non-combustible, no open flame A2 class: Non-combustible, to measure smoke, to be qualified.
Grade B1: Flame retardant building materials: Flame retardant materials have good flame retardant effects.
It is difficult to catch fire when exposed to fire in the air or under high temperature, and it is not easy to spread quickly. When the fire source is removed, the combustion stops immediately.
Class B2: Combustible building materials: Combustible materials have a certain flame retardant effect.
In the air, when exposed to fire or under high temperature, it will immediately ignite and burn, which may lead to the spread of fire, such as wooden columns, wooden trusses, wooden beams, wooden stairs, etc.
Grade B3: Flammable building materials: no flame retardant effect, extremely flammable, and dangerous to fire. The national standard must reach the level of GB 8627 B1.
PS:
1) Building materials are classified into four grades according to their combustion properties (non-combustible, flame retardant, flammable, and flammable).
According to the "Code for Fire Protection of Building Design" (GBJ16-1987) (revised edition 2001), the fire hazards of production or storage are classified into five categories: A, B, C, D, and E. In the Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises (GB50160--1992) (revised 1999), fire hazards are also classified according to the dangers of substances used, produced or stored. According to the fire hazard, the requirements and measures for preventing and limiting fire and explosion can be proposed from the aspects of fire distance, fire resistance rating, allowable number of floors, safe evacuation, fire fighting facilities, etc.
2) Fire rating of buildings In the Code for Fire Protection of Building Design, the building is divided into four fireproof grades.
The fire resistance of the main components of the building, such as load-bearing walls, beams, columns, floors, etc., is clearly defined. In the design of buildings, those buildings that use a large amount of combustible materials and valuable equipment, which are particularly dangerous to fire, should be constructed with construction materials with higher fire resistance as far as practicable. When determining the fire rating, the fire resistance limits of all components should meet the requirements.
As a Class A fireproof insulation material, Zhenyang Foam Glass is now widely used for roofing and wall insulation, especially as a high-rise building. Foam glass is the best choice.
Zhenyang foam glass has the characteristics of strong pressure resistance, low heat conduction, no water absorption, no combustion, no toxicity, no harm, no health and environmental protection. At the same time, Zhenyang actively developed high-performance American standard foam glass, and successfully applied in many fields such as storage tanks and low temperature pipelines. Zhenyang foam glass is moving into a broader field.
